"Today I helped a police officer."
Six simple words, yet they get to the essence of what we do.
For more than 20 years, we have worked with citizens and police professionals alike who wish to make a difference in the well-being of police officers and their families.
Take a moment to meet some of these remarkable citizens and then turn your aspirations into meaningful action.
We began this organization over 20 years ago to improve the lives of police officers.
The obstacles faced by police officers and their families was a subject we all knew something about – everyone was either a member of law enforcement's extended family or a veteran police officer.
Our strategy for creating programming back then was uncomplicated:
Keep it simple.
Keep it about people.
And when in doubt, ask a retired police officer what needs to be done to help officers and their families...and do that.
Two decades later, the Police Protective Fund continues to provide meaningful ways for citizens and police professionals alike to support police officers.
We depend on volunteers and the generosity of people like you who roll up their sleeves and open their hearts to help police officers and their families.
