Remembering Oscar M. Davila

Oscar M. Davila, father of Trevor and Oscar Davila (both past employees of this association) died on Jan. 28, 2011.  Mr. Davila is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years Baudelia Davila. In addition to their two sons Oscar and Trevor are daughters Beverly (Gonzalez) and Yvette (Haubenreiser).(left to right) JPA Program Director Kelly LeConte, Trevor and Oscar Davila, JPA Program Coordinator June Mellon at funeral services yesterday.

“Oscar Davila, Sr. was a kind and gentle man who raised exceptional children. Both Trevor and Oscar lent not only their talents, but their enthusiasm to building our organization and its programs,” said Executive Officer Phillip LeConte.

Trevor Davila currently serves as a firefighter in central Texas, while Oscar Davila, Jr. is a recruiter at Communities In Schools of Central Texas.

“Our best wishes are with the Davila family at this time of grief,” said Chaplain Dave Fair, Director of Chaplain Services.

Funeral Services were held Monday, January 31, 2011 at Templo Bethel , 3024 Colima, San Antonio 78207 at 9am. Burial followed at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Road, San Antonio, Texas 78214.
