Riverside County Sheriff's Office Hosts PoliceUSA Seminar Today

Today nearly 20 departments across Southern California are scheduled to participate in “The Unthinkable: Managing the Police Funeral”, an 8 hour funeral training seminar for countywide agency management teams sponsored by PoliceUSA.com
The seminar is lead by Police Protective Fund Advisory Council member and veteran police officer John Cooley. In the educational presentation, John shares his extensive experience and people-oriented insights to raising the professional standards by which law enforcement honors and lays to rest its fallen heroes.
Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is no stranger to line of duty fatalities, having lost twenty one officers in the line of duty.
Our thanks to Sheriff Stanley Sniff, Jr. for hosting rare opportunity to focus on sensitive issues that are seldom discussed and often overlooked by agencies amidst a line-of-duty death crisis. Assisting John in Riverside County today is PoliceUSA’s David Dierks.
